Bemidji State looks to shake off a disappointing season opening loss at Winona tomorrow when they host Concordia-St. Paul in the annual Shrine game at 4pm. It’s a full day for Beaver fans, beginning with the parade at 1:30 followed by the tailgate party at Diamond Point, then it’s gametime. Concordia-St. Paul comes in 1-0 after a 24-0 win over Minot State last Thursday.

The 1-3 Bemidji State volleyball team is at another non-conference weekend tournament, playing 4 games in Houghton, MI at Michigan Tech’s Keweenaw Classic. They’ll open up today against the host Huskies at 1:30. They’ll face Wisconsin-Parkside at 5:30. On Saturday, they face Lake Superior State at 11am, and wrap up the weekend at 5pm against Northern Michigan.

Bemidji State opened the season with a strong 3-0 at UMC Tuesday. They’re still on the road, in the same neck of the woods as the volleyball team. They’ll battle Michigan Tech at 4pm today in Houghton, then will venture further east where they’ll take on Northern Michigan in Marquette on Sunday.
